Digital Summit of the Federal Government

Germany, Rhine-Neckar Region - summit recap

Digital Summit

Date June 2017

On the 12th and 13th June 2017, the Digital Summit took place in the metropolitan region Rhine-Neckar. The summit is the follow up conference of the former National IT Summit. The change of name is referring to an additional group of topics, which now not only integrates technology, but also technological consequences and societal changes due to new technologies. “Connected better living” is the slogan on the 18 paged programs, which gives an overview over the many locations and topics on site. The aim of the summit was to bring together representatives from politics, economy, science, unions and art. The exact aims can be read in the Ludwigshafen Declaration.
